Description
- The name of the piece honors Saba, an Ethiopian black woman, who was ruler of the Kingdom of Saba. The Queen of Sheba as a historical-legendary character, appears in the books Kings and Chronicles (the Bible), in the Qur’an and in the history of Ethiopia. In biblical texts, the queen is not explicitly named by name.
- Made in Barcelona by artisans from the Diomcoop Cooperative which aims to provide a sustainable and long-lasting solution to the social-inclusion and employment needs of migrants in vulnerable situations.
