Description
- The name of this piece honors “Saba”, a Black Ethiopian woman who was ruler of the Kingdom of Sheba. The Queen of Sheba as a historical-legendary figure appears in the books of Kings and Chronicles (the Bible), in the Quran, and in Ethiopian history. In biblical texts, the queen is not explicitly named.
- Made in Barcelona by artisans from the Diomcoop Cooperative which aims to provide a sustainable and long-lasting solution to the social-inclusion and employment needs of migrants in vulnerable situations.
