Description
- Made in Barcelona by artisans from the Diomcoop Cooperative which aims to provide a sustainable and long-lasting solution to the social-inclusion and employment needs of migrants in vulnerable situations.
- Named after the last African warrior, “Queen Asantewaa”, who said: “If you men refuse to defend us, then we, the women, will.”
In 1900, she led the Ashanti rebellion known as the War of the Golden Stool, also known as Yaa Asantewaa’s war against British colonialism.
